Sachs New Success Rear Derailleur: 6/7/8 Speed. The Sachs New Success was a full gruppo released in the early-mid 1990's. It was largely asthetically influenced by Campagnolo, but is actually Shimano compatible. It can be used with Shimano 6/7/8 speed shifters (except 8sp Dura Ace), as well as Sachs brifters Like This One. This is a 2nd version.

Building a bike for my very tall son. Finally found a great 64 CM frame. Triple Butted Bridgestone from the 80s. I'm using Campy Record 8 speed indexed shifting / brakes. I found a nice set of 700 c wheels with SACHS New Success hubs (32 hole) and Sachs New Success cluster 12-28. I believe these are the same as Record components.

Most likely produced by Campagnolo for Sachs, these have the same shape and simular back side stamping to Campagnolo cranks of the late 80's and early 90's. Both examples I have seen have included Campagnolo rings.
